  • Two straight bouncers from Andi Otto aka
Springintgut open the series. After touring through
India last winter, he brought home some antique
vinyl records with south indian string music. These
have been micro-sampled for the tracks,
overdubbed with his own cello playing and a drum
machine. Two odes to the animals in Bangalore,
the eagles above, and the dogs underneath.

  • "Posten90" is the Debut-Album of Cellist and Drummer Andreas Otto following his "Springintgut EP" on Pingipung. Springintgut's tracks are always dense and joyfully arranged and they leave their melodic ringing in your ear.

  • Andreas Otto kicks off with "Kirmes in C-Dur" which in its childish hilariousity can still be seen as one of his greatest hits. The melancholy and meldodic deepness which became evident on Springintgut's following records is already there: "Christal" and "Le peuple de l'herbe" show the detailed craftsmanship with which he arranges his non-minimal tunes, the hooklines of which will remain in your ears for a long time after listening.
