The music of Patrik Boman Seven Piece Machine is often described as a jazzmusic very much in the present. A great respect for the past, but at the same time a longing to move into the future. The compositions, by Patrik Boman, are delicately arranged and allow for room for every individual in the group. The result is a steaming mix of styles from all kinds of music from the twentieth century. The solos lift the music to a level of high enjoyment for everybody involved, both for the performing artists and for the listeners.
