    Sam Cooke is one of our most influential musicians of all time and was elected into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. In the 1950´s he successfully blended gospel music with secular themes and created the foundation of soul music. His first no 1 hit "You send me" in 1957 was followed by numerous hit songs making him the most selling record artist after Elvis Presley. In 1964 he was tragically shot at Hacienda Motel in Los Angeles.

    Sam Cooke was a true superstar in his lifetime and after his death he became a pure legend. The Swedish soul and rock artist Sulo had the idea of going back to the roots of the soul music and to create a quality tribute show to give justice to Sam Cookes great music. With a top of the line of Swedish artists and an enthusiastic crowd at Södra Teatern in Stockholm he put together a magic evening of love and passion given to the soul music and to the artist Sam Cooke.
