  • Ben Arnold has toured throughout the United States and Europe with various line-ups both solo and with his rollicking live band. He has shared stages with everyone from Ryan Adams, David Gray, Ben Folds, Lucinda Williams to Ron Sexsmith, Randy Newman and even a strangely magical week in Holland with Townes Van Zandt.
With one listen to Nevermind My Blues, it's apparent just how pervasive his reach is. Songs like "Suckin' Honey," "Eggs," "Timeless" and "Heaven Next Time" have sugar sweet hooks, but it's the substance of the lyrics and the clever musical twists within those undeniable melodies where the big pay-off comes. It's proof positive of Ben's dedication to his craft and the exceptional talent he brings to it.

  • Philadelphia-based songwriter Ben Arnold gives fans a pleasant surprise by releasing a disc entitled, "Solo." "Solo" was recorded during a 2-night break from work on Ben's forthcoming studio record. "It was just one of those nights where we hit a wall working on my record and we decided to do something completely unrelated. So, I just sat there and played through 20 or so old and new songs and it was done. I was really into how the songs took on a whole new life in that acoustic setting."

The "Solo" disc contains 12 songs and offers up Ben's radio hits, live favorites, and five songs from the forthcoming studio record in an intimate, stripped-down format. The stark arrangements, featuring only acoustic guitar or piano, highlight Ben's prowess as a songwriter, while shining light on the depth of his talent.
