On july 13 2000 DJ logic was deep into his two year experiment that was "project logic". the first
DJ led live band had, in true ropeadope style, taken it's licks but kept punching back. and after
543 gigs across the country and across the globe, project logic had triumphantly returned back to where it all began -
new york city and it's second home "the wetlands". this is a moment in time that captures the sheer power, strength and beauty
of a tight-knit, road tested band that was slightly ahead of their time, playing classics from their debut recording (presents project logic) plus some sweet covers (jean pierre, bubblehouse). this is truly a lost classic that we just found.

Produced b y long time collaborator Scotty hard (Wu-Tang, Prince Paul,) Zen of Logic travels down many paths, all linked by two turntables and a mixer. From afro-dub (featuring (Antibalas); ghetto funk (featuring John Medeski); what is jazz? (featuring Charlie Hunter) and back handed hip-hop (with MC’s SubConscious and Creature) Logic has crated a modern day mix-up masterpiece that will please all mad (ipod) shufflers.
