Formed in November 2004, To be a High Powered Executive… began its career playing various venues in Cleveland, Ohio. An instrumental band for the past two years TBAHPE employs guitars, drums, bass, glockenspiel, and synth to create songs ranging from three-minute math-pop blasts to ten-minute plus epics. Their new album titled: “We don’t want it safe, We want it secret.” was recorded over five days this March in Austin, TX. The members of TBAHPE all originally hail from different states across the country, convening in Cleveland and bringing their separate musical influences to the band.
