It’s a fact that the saxophone is an important instrument in Rock’n’Roll music, and it should not surprise anybody that Micke Finell, the sax player in The Refreshments makes a solo album. The album contains twelve well structured rock’n’roll songs, classics like “Honky Tonk”, “Mellow Saxophone” and “Yakety Yak” mixed with new original songs, among them the title track “Walking With Me And Mr.Lee”, a tribute to one of Micke’s big influences, the late Lee Allen who played on most of Fats Dominos and Little Richard's recordings. A long line of famous musicians joins Micke on this album, Augie Meyers, Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom from Stray Cats, Billy Bremner, Steve Gibbons, Geraint Watkins and Gene Taylor, and all contributes to make this a hi octane recording in Mr.Lee’s spirit.
