The unbelievable project The Disco Opera, starring Kool Dj Dust. Dust has sampled and edited together super obscure materia into perfect disco rocks, which he dramaturgically arranges into a galactic drama, visualised as a graphic story.
Bringing to mind Idjut Boys, Rune Lindbaek and Radio Soulwax, Dust's just as unique, crate digging genious and partymanic but with a disco flavour to it that will roll like a mirrorball around the globe.
Support from Tim Sweeney, Erol Alkan, Aeroplane, Tode Terje, Tensnake, Skull Juice, Rune Lindbaek etc.

They've been called one of dance music's best kept secrets: JACKPOT. In 1983 the Italian experimental sound artist Marco Donatello and Swedish synth pioneer Gleen Asp made recordings together. Their ambition was to put sound to an art-project but the result was an erotic cocktail of italo-esque melodies, ebm rhythms, and filmic arpeggios.
Legend has it the music was made as an excuse to press records off a narcotic solution in order to smuggle drugs, and that a mishap during the operation explains why we haven't heard these tracks before.
In any case, this is an exclusive document of unknown yet truly unique Swedish dance music.

We wanted a wide screen THX mega remake of ”Sipping On the Sweet Nectar”. Guess if we were happy to meet Stockholm’s Rollerboys Recordings crew, who worked hard and got us the S.E.D.A.* stamp on it.

"From the sound of my own voice reverberating off my home's old '50s brick walls, from the ghosts of everyone who's lived here before me clapping along with their little ecto-plasm hands. My record basically never leaves the 30 square meters that I live on."
Jens' world is between the tragicomical and the romantic, the trivial and the unspeakable, where that what we call life happens. A drop of blood in a glass of milk.

This techno acid anthem is one of the most defining dancefloor 12”s of the moment. Genre destroying, fierce and rocking, “Cat Scratch” is a pumped up 303 stomper with a demented acid line that hauntingly stalks the listener as the relentless beat is built up and broken down. Much in the same way as MMM:s “Donna” did in the late 90s, “Cat Scratch” takes back dance music to its raw, dirty basics. On the flip side, “Kidney Shot” pushes the noisy whereabouts of the A side one step further. Technoid and funky, it is bound to set the dancefloor in motion.
