    Few are the ones in the current Black Metal scene who have the guts and, above all, the creativity to push the boundaries of the genre. This is precisely what A Forest of Stars, one of the new emerging bands from England, has done in their album The Corpse of Rebirth. The four sorcerers conjured the souls of their fellow Victorian era occultists and ended up creating an atemporal, unique and spellbinding opus, with influences ranging from progressive and psychadelic music to traditional black metal and sharing a similar artistic framework with bands such as Ved Buens Ende, Solefald and In The Woods.
