Multi-instrumentalist Kim-Evert Olofsson is a man who has already made his musical mark on his native home of Sundsvall, Sweden with his seemingly endless collaborations with different bands and projects in every possible genre. But with one-man-project TKNK, the result is something quite different.
With one foot in the crunchy, nostalgic sound of classic video game music/bitpop, and the other in modern electronica, club and dance music, TKNK.s self titled debut has a sound that is intense, dreamlike and suggestive as well as danceable and full of adrenaline.
