Amber Oak has finally managed to release their debut album: Illt. Harden by difficulties, unpleasantness and defection. Our quintet has returned as a quartet, since a former member's departure to the east, last seen in the mountains of Slovakia.
The album is a manic depressive mix of overdriven pop, spring reverb and with the echoe of the sixties lingering. An ambiguous story of a lost youth and a crave to get away. Away from constant winter, small town mentality and hockey.

Here you have it lads, "Words", Amber Oak´s first and latest songs in the same time! This seriocomical indie pop song is the first song that's officially relesead without the second guitarist in the band, as he quitted and fled the country to live in some mountain village. With a catchy, friendly melody and some less-friendly lyrics mixed together, these fantastic pop-aesthetics shows themselves off before their upcoming debut album. And by the way, this song will not appear on their debut-album "Illt"

Amber Oak är snygg indie av fem coola killar från West Side´s hemstad. Amber Oak har för övrigt har rönt mycket uppmärksamhet på nätet, lirat förband åt både Krunegård, Alkberg och Deportees och som dessutom redan har släppt en sex-låtars platta, "Your missing piece".
Det är från den plattan som denna låt, "Audrey (radio version)" är hämtad, med en ny och stadig mix av Kjell Nästén, som bland annat har mixat Mattias Alkbergs senaste och mycket kritiker rosade album "Nerverna".

They are young, pretty and ambitious. They call them self´s Amber Oak and they play indie alternative pop. With a great lead singer and some marvelous harmonies they think they can rule the alternative music world, at least make a name somewhere. Anyway, this is their debut album, a six track master piece for all you indie nerds. So please be our guests and listen to it.
